Musical Personnel

The members of the orchestra are volunteer musicians who come from many walks of life - educators, music teachers, engineers, computer experts, librarians, homemakers, business people, medical personnel, and advanced students. Some are retired. Although most players are from Claremont and the San Gabriel Valley, several drive an hour or more to attend the Monday evening rehearsals from 7:30-10:00 p.m. in the Band Room of the Pomona College's Thatcher Music Building. Some orchestra members have performed for over twenty years. We always welcome new members, especially string players.
