CSO Receives Grant From Claremont Community Foundation
We are proud to announce that the Claremont Community Foundation awarded the Claremont Symphony Orchestra a grant in 2012 to support the orchestra's new Mobile Conservatory and Instrument "Petting Zoo." The CSO has developed a mobile display booth that includes instruments for young people to try out, posters, games, and a music DVD. On occasion we also do joint displays with the Claremont Community School of Music. The Mobile Conservatory and Instrument Petting Zoo makes appearances at various civic and school events throughout the year.
Members of the CSO also make presentations on various music topics to children of all ages, as well as adult groups, such as an amusing “The History of Music according to a Horn Player.”
